As the academic arm of the FNC, the Manuel Mejía Foundation was created in 1961 to help improve Colombian agriculture, promote the well-being of coffee growers, their families and communities, and train the technical staff responsible for transferring the different research and development advances to producers.

All this through design, development and implementation of in-person and online training programs.
