Coffee production has been stabilizing for the second month in a row
 
Bogotá, August 9, 2023 (FNC Press Office) – At the end of July, coffee imports are estimated to have decreased 50% compared to the previous year, from 171,000 bags imported in July 2022 to 86,000* in 2023, down 85,000 bags.
On the other hand, registered coffee production in Colombia in July, and for the second month in a row, has been stabilizing to reach 947,000 60-kg bags.
However, in the last 12 months, it fell 11% from 12 million bags to 10.7 million bags as a result of climate variables that affected coffee production.
Meanwhile, preliminary exports in the last 12 months reached 10.3 million bags, and in July reached 846,000 bags, down 17% from the same month in 2022.
